Underwhelmed
I've used this product for about a month. Quite often the readings are 5-15 yards off course markings, and since I'm playing a lot of different courses, I'm not sure whether the unit's readings are correct. I've had trouble loading 10 courses, and an e-mail to the support people has gone unanswered (besides the automatic acknowledgement); loading 1 to 3 courses at the time has worked. On the plus side, the readings are clear, holes scroll up automatically, and battery consumption is good. .... Read more

Golflogix V.S. Sureshot
Recentely purchased this unit foir my wife and I am impressed. As simple to use as is possible. Turn it on and turn it off. The GPS unit does the rest. Hazards, front, back and center of the green are calculated automatically. Simple to load and the courses (with hazards) are there unlike my Sureshot model. I own several other Garmin products and thought if they do as good a job on the golf GPS as they do on the marine and road units it would be good. I am not dissappointed. .... Read more

Best yet
Purchased the Golflogix after having 2 other GPS's, and it is superior to the others. Easy downloads, very quick aquisition of courses, and very accurate. Two problems that are overcome by other good features. Distances to hazards[bunkers] and water near greens is non-existent, and only ten downloads of courses is allowed. .... Read more

GolfLogix 2007 Model
I received my GolfLogix via FREE shipping in 4 days. It works fine, as advertised, and the database of courses includes every one I have looked for. I think the '07 model is a good deal with a saving of $100 over the '08 model. The only difference is storing 10 courses instead of 20 (do you ever play more than 10 courses before going back home?) and not having the last shot distance capability. Not worth another $100 to me. I am very pleased with the purchase. .... Read more
